Week2Week Serviced Apartments is about more than our range of prime location apartments in the North East of England. It’s the people behind the scenes who give us our unique approach to accommodation.
Claire – Director
Fiercely passionate about the accommodation industry, Claire prides herself on ensuring Week2Week is run transparently and honestly with the upmost integrity.
Claire took the reigns from mother Janet in 2013; she strives to continue the strong family ethos within the company – something the other staff comment on as a positive in their day-to-day life with Week2Week.
Bringing structure and organisation to Week2Week after Janet laid the foundations of business by setting up the business; Claire gives all team members a voice, with regular get together resulting in shared ideas, allowing Week2Week to grow.
Born and raised in Newcastle, Claire is equally as passionate about her hometown and region,
Sarah – Duty Manager
The first point of contact for guests, Sarah handles the administration side of Week2Week – and brings with her a wealth of experience from overseas, having looked after villas in the south of France for 15 years.
Answering phones, dealing with enquiries and keeping in contact with housekeeping is all in a day’s work for Sarah who now lives in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Working closely with Claire, as duty manager, Sarah found Week2Week through an employment agency upon moving back to the UK from France. She was thrown straight in at the deep end but picked up the job quickly and thrives.
Sarah is on the ball and regularly gets involved in the business outside our usual working hours; checking emails regularly, dealing with clients and partners – she always gives it her all.
Originally from Oxford, Sarah says she loves Newcastle, and has no plans to move away from the city any time soon.
Jemma- Guest Relations
Harbouring ambitions of owning her own hotel in the future, Jemma looks after guest relations in Week2Week. Tending to guests’ requirements to make their stays as comfortable and memorable as possible, it will be Jemma who will answer your questions, deal with your requests and be the friendly voice on the other end of the phone.
Currently studying at university, Durham born Jemma now calls Newcastle home and feels the opportunity Claire has given her alongside her degree is invaluable in the experience department – something that will be invaluable beyond the student life.
Slotting in perfectly to the Week2Week setup, Jemma puts customers first and, like the whole group, prides herself on customer service and good relations with guests.
Jemma is another one who has bought into the friendly, almost family-like professional team at Week2Week – summed up perfectly by the time she was asked into the office for a tea and a chat about upcoming exams.
Dave Urwin – Maintenance
Ensuring that property’s wiring, plumbing and heating is in perfect working order, you could say Dave provides the spark that makes a stay with Week2Week so electric.
Dave is an avid football fan, and with over 20 years in the trade, it’s fair to say every one of Week2Week’s fully serviced apartments is in safe hands – as they have been throughout the decade he has known Claire.
Always on call, you can be assured a stay with Week2Week will be as relaxing as possible with as few as stresses as possible thanks to Dave.
Ayesha Arundel – Marketing and PR
Always on hand to direct Week2Week in the right direction in terms of events, press, awards, editorials and of course the blog, Ayesha works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everyone knows just how good a stay with Week2Week is.
A constant well of good ideas and advice, it’s clear that Week2Week continue to go from strength to strength with Ayesha steering the marketing and public relations ship.
